International drivers join local stars in Rally Norway entry list

There will be a strong international participation in Rally Norway 2006 on 10 and 11 February, with some well known drivers leading the entries.  As of midday on Thursday 5th January, the entry list counted names such as Henning Solberg, Mika Salo and Thomas Rådström.  In all 71 drivers from 7 countries have entered.

WRC class drivers and cars are included and are tipped to top the podium at the Rally Norway FIA WRC Candidate Event next month.

Among the many noteworthy drivers are Daniel Carlsson, Mika Salo, Mats Jonsson, Henning Solberg, Juha Salo and Thomas Rådström, the long time factory driver for Toyota og Citroen who will compete in a Subaru WRC car in Norway.

In total 71 drivers had submitted entries for Rally Norway 2006 by midday on Thursday,a few hours before the entry procedure closed. The drivers are spread across all 8 categories N1–N4 og A5–A8.
