Main objectives

Rally Norway AS will be an efficient organization as far as resources and the environment are concerned and will have a good, positive working environment. In addition, the organization will be a creative and environmentally responsible organizer and business partner to ensure that the event causes the least possible harm to the environment, with proper use of nature and culture. The event will focus on the environmental challenges facing motor sport and will seek creatively to promote greater environmental responsibility.

Sub-goals

  1. Comply with all legislation that naturally concerns the event
  2. Work toward promoting environmental commitment and responsibility among employees in the organization and among volunteers
  3. Seek to improve use of resources and energy consumption with environmental benefits
  4. Prevent harmful emissions and effluents
  5. Reduce waste and separate the waste generated at the source
  6. Set environmental requirements for competing teams with regard to pollution, waste and management of hazardous waste, such as oil, fuel and batteries
  7. Focus on eco-friendly purchasing and use of materials
  8. Continuous assessment of use of private cars and arrange for logistics with good public transport solutions
  9. Be a driving force and campaigner for a better green image among business partners and contractors
  10. Seek to establish a good visual environment with high aesthetic qualities
